Below are some examples of projects we have worked on

Working with New Zealand plastics manufacturers, through the plastics industry association, to implement environmental best practice. We have helped a large number of manufacturers with waste minimisation, energy efficiency and environmental management systems.

Development and implementation of a waste minimisation programme at the Huntly Power Station. We are implementing measures to divert more than 60% of solid waste.

Waste audit and introduction of a waste minimisation programme at Genesis head office in Auckland has achieved waste reductions of 67%.

We are assisting Genesis to implement waste minimizations at all their New Zealand sites.

Development and implementation of a waste minimisation plan for a large scale civil construction project. This project involved working with site staff and management to identify waste minimisation and recycling opportunities. Recycling across the site was improved by 23%. We have developed a waste template for use at other Fletcher construction sites.

Worked with the New Zealand lighting industry, through Lighting Council NZ, to help develop a national product stewardship scheme for mercury-containing lamps. We have undertaken research and modelling and reported on the issues and options for implementing a lighting stewardship scheme in New Zealand.
